How to have a remote culture. In this episode Judith Germain speaks to Nathan Hirsch about what it is like creating and having a remote culture within your organisation. Nate’s first business (which he scaled to a turnover of $ms was set up whilst he was in college. He found that he needed remote workers but could not get the calibre he needed. Nate therefore built his own remote hire platform which ended up with a turnover of $8m a year.
Last year Nate sold that business and has built another one Outsource School; which is an education platform for how to scale your business using remote workers.
This is a fascinating conversation on how you can build a business that operates entirely remotely. Even hiring interviews take place without voice or video input! Nate uses a blended approach to work and people. The whole person is brought into work at all times.
