Mavericks of Mass Creation. At the end of 2020 Judith Germain was reflecting on the year that was just passing. It was the year that the whole world was surprised into reacting to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the Black Lives Matter Movement. Much had changed, not just within personal lives but in our working lives too.
For Judith what was apparent was the real need for Maverick Leadership skills, the ability to be ‘change eager’, to be able to effectively strategise, innovate, and execute – to be able to understand, predict and react to the changing world around us.
Effective Maverick Leaders not only get things done, question and change what isn’t right, they are tolerant and celebratory of difference and follow their curiosity to greater understanding. They eagerly seek out and encourage different points of view and ways of thinking to ensure that the best solutions are forthcoming.
We need that desperately now.
