Catherine explains the need for employers to take active steps to support employees’ mental health and sites a study in the UK that show that when they do, each employee in the company is more productive by 11 days. This is regardless of whether they have directly benefited from mental health support programmes. The ROI in investing in supporting mental health, has been stated in another study in the US, as employees being more productive in a ratio of 5 to 1.
