We are creating robots. This show was recorded in March 2020 prior to the COVID-19 being declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation.
In this episode Judith Germain speaks to Jan Robberts about his belief that leadership is about building relationships. Jan shares his experience of working with the Maxwell organisation and how in 2013 they went to Guatemala (where the average age was 20), to spend 3 days providing leadership training to 19,000 people.
They also discuss which key values are necessary for leadership to exist.
In this show Jan declares that we (society) are creating robots and the discussion turns to the psychological damage companies cause their employees. Jan talks about how the new ‘Revolution’ will take us back to the human touch. This feels prophetic now as society yearns for the human connection whilst in lockdown.
Leadership is failing due to a lack of values.
