During Covid Ben lost his job and he needed to find work but no one was hiring marketing professionals. Ben decided to start his own podcast which led to his first job during Covid, teaching students how to podcast. He decided to use his podcast to build up local relationships. (One person ended up referring him $30k worth of business).
This is Ben’s story of setting up a podcast and turning that podcast into a method of getting clients. He explains that the podcast is akin to giving the guest an understanding of what it would be like working with him. He was building a relationship with his guests.
Ben is the owner of Balbert Marketing LLC. He is also the curator of The Real Business Connections Network’, where he hosts five podcasts. Once an underdog, now a successful entrepreneur, Ben is passionate about helping other underdogs achieve their dreams.
Maverick leadership is all about thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo. It’s about having the courage to take risks and the confidence to lead in a way that is authentic and genuine.
But amplifying your influence as a leader isn’t just about having a strong vision or a big personality. It’s also about having the right leadership capability and being able to execute on your ideas and plans.
The consequences of not having the right level of influence as a leader can be significant. Without the ability to inspire and motivate others, you may struggle to achieve your goals and make a real impact.
